During the summer of 2008 I visited Bowers with my son, Joey. We went there to see the Egyptian Mummy Exhibit. That was an exciting show as well. However, that would be better saved for another blog post.
Bowers Museum is located in Santa Ana, California. It is in the middle of the city near shopping malls and the Science Center. The museum is easy to find and parking is $4.00. I decided to purchase a membership to the museum. There is also a Children's Museum available on the grounds of the Bowers Museum. According to the website the mission is to:
Our Mission
The Bowers Kidseum is dedicated to providing a fun, educational, and culturally rich environment where imagination and creativity are not only encouraged but nurtured.
Several photos of children are featured on this section of the website. Many local school districts visit the kidseum as part of a fieldtrip.
